Generalities

  • Duration: 33 months
  • Start date: September 1st, 2015
  • End date: May 31st, 2018

The CHT2 project addresses the following JPI-CH topics, listed in priority order:

  1. Safeguarding tangible cultural heritage and its associated intangible expressions
  2. Sustainable strategies for protecting and managing cultural heritage
  3. Use and re-use of all kinds of cultural heritage

The main project aims have been:

  • generate 4D digital models of heritage sites, integrating heterogeneous data and expertise
  • develop a methodology for future monitoring of heritage evolution (structures and landscapes) as a means of safeguarding it
  • share multi-temporal information via the Internet (webGIS) for remote analyses and to disseminate culture, evolution and lost assets
